MER is committed to implementing a Quality Management System in line with the requirements of the ISO9001 standard. The aim of our Quality Policy and Quality Management System is to set out the fundamental principles regarding the achievement, maintenance and improvement of quality within our organisation to ensure on-going growth. Our Quality Policy and Quality Management System align with our Business Strategy and the overall Strategic Objectives of the organisation. We are committed to identifying the needs and expectations of our clients and interested parties to ensure we address the requirements of our clients and interested parties and in so doing, ensure ongoing satisfaction.
To ensure the aim of our Quality management System is achieved we have established the following focus areas which form the framework for our Quality Objectives:
- Identification and pursuit of potential new markets with associated clients to ensure on-going growth
- Provide professional services to clients by developing appropriate solutions to their needs
- Increased effectiveness in the day-to-day delivery of all our business management processes
- Pursuit of technological advancements to improve service delivery

Our Quality Policy and Quality Management System comply with all the requirements of the ISO9001:2015 standard and every employee clearly understands the requirements of the standard and the importance thereof to our clients, to our interested parties and to ourselves. We do not have any exclusions from the ISO9001 standard and implement the requirements of the standard in its entirety.
We are committed to identifying and compiling to all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. These requirements include but are not restricted to the following:
- South African Legislation (e.g. DOL, DTI, CIPC, SARS etc.)
- Regulatory and Voluntary Bodies (e.g. ECSA, CESA, SACPCMP, SACAP, SACQSP etc.)
- Governmental Authorities specific to project delivery (e.g. DWA, DBSA, MIG, Municipalities etc.)
- Organisation of International Standardisation ISO (e.g. ISO9001:2015)
- Contractual and Legal Requirements (e.g. GCC, JBCC, PROCSA, NEC etc.)
